Currently I'm trying to make my way through the Random House 100 as well as all of the Pulitzer Prize winners for fiction. I also love decent fantasy and horror and am a sucker for historical fiction. Robert R. McCammon is one of the best for horror. I'm glad he came out of retirement. My Current fantasy fave is Geoorge R.R. Martin. He's one of the few fantasy authors that does premise his series on the "boy savior" angle. In regards to historical fiction I have quite a few favorites. Sharon Kay Penman being number one. Clavell, Pearl S. Buck, and Gary Jennings are in the list. Just joined the M.A.L.E. book club.
